Federation of Muslim Women’s Association gives Palliatives to less priveledge in kaduna community

The Federation of Muslim Women’s Association Nigeria FOMWAN Kaduna state Chapter has presented palliatives to the less priveledge in Babban Saura Chikun Local Government Area North West Nigeria to support the effort towards curbing the spread of the corona virus pandemic in the state.
While speaking during the presentation ,on 4th of June 2020 in Babban Saura Amira of FOMWAN in the state Pharmacist Aisha Isiyaku said the gesture was to collaborate with the government so as to provide palliatives to residents in order to cushion the effect of the virus in the states.
According to her, wealthy Nigerians and Corporates Organization should support the ideas of the Association by partnering with them to get to the less priveledge in the grassroots.
“We are giving them Rice and clean detergent. This presentation is also coming amidst our Humanitarian week.” She said
Speaking earlier the guest lecturer, Hajia Rahima Gambo called on Muslims women and all Nigerians to obey their leaders especially during the pandemic.
She said the lockdowns and others preventive measures is not meant to punish anyone but to check the spread of the Coronavirus.
She expressed dismay over the attitude of some residents of kaduna State for antagonising the state Governor Mallam Nasir El-rufai because of his efforts to reduce the virus.
A beneficiary Aishatu Shahibu commended the effort of the Association in bringing succour to the less priveledge.
Similarly Salama Gambo Expressed gratitude to FOMWAN for remembering them and prayed for Allah SWA to reward the Association members accordingly.
