Stakeholders advocates Kaduna State Govt carries media along in policy implementation.

Participants at a Two-day media Round Table in kaduna have called on the State Goverment to carry the media along in its activities to ensure that proper information are disseminated to the public.
A participant Comrade Adamu Yusuf said the media is a partner in progress to the Goverment, hence the practitioners must be carried along.
Comrade Yusuf who is the Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists NUJ Kaduna State Council said any God that refused to go along with the media is distancing itself from the people.
Similarly, Mr. Joshua James Executive Director Open Kaduna Radio, said it is time the media are to be seen as partners and not opposing forces, saying it is to close the gap between the media and the Goverment in kaduna state.
Joshua James therefore called for a robust engagement between the media and the Goverment in kaduna so the people will be informed about the good work of the Goverment.
Speaking in the same vein, The General Manager of Liberty Radio and Television Abdul-Azeez Ahmed Kadir called for trust between the media and the Goverment.
He attributed the present gap between the media and the Goverment in the state to lack of trust, he proffered understanding as the way forward.
In her remark the Chairperson National Association of Women Journalists NAWOJ Kaduna State Chapter, Fatima Aliyu urged the Media to be independent and stopped face lifting in their reportage.
She called for accurate information from Goverment to the media.
The moderator Mr. Philip Yatai called for mutual understanding between the media and the Goverment for the benefit of the populace.
