JDPC distributes N2.5M food items to displaced communities in Kajuru LGA

Development and Peace Initiative also known as JDPC has distributed food items worth about 2.5million Naira to the distressed communities affected in several attacks in kaduna state
The Metropolitan Archbishop of Kaduna Matthew Man-Oso Ndagoso, disclosed this in a statement made available to the media on 4th July, 2021 in kaduna.
According to the Bishop, Communities that benefited are Doka Avong, Maraban Kakuri, Kasuwan Magani and Kallah.
The Bishop who was represented by Rev. Fr. Joshua Yima Achir explained that the support was due to the outcry of the suffering majority of the victims who have been hosts communities of the IDPs.
He stressed that the food was contributed by Archdiocese of Kaduna, SUMA Charity and the JDPC
The items donated according to him includes Maize, Guinea Corn, Rice, Ground nuts oil and Indomie.
“In Doka Avong, there are over 300 beneficiaries, maraban Kajuru, 200 beneficiaries and Kallah, 150 beneficiaries.” he said.
The Archbishop called on the beneciaries to accept the gift with an appreciative hearts and also called on government and good people and organisations render helping hands to those who could not farm or access their farmlands due to fear of attacks.
