Ensure gospel message is not perverted, Apostle Yakubu charges church leaders

Church leaders and Ministers of the Gospel in Nigeria have been charged to ensure that the Gospel is not perverted and that Christianity regains its moral mandate and mission.
The General Overseer, of the House of Purpose Ministry U/Sunday in Chikun LGA of Kaduna Pastor Yakubu Yusuf, asserted this during Integrity & Fire Minster Forum held in Kaduna yesterday.
He expressed dismay that most gospels today are false religious syncretism He,, therefore urged Ministers to adhere to their calling adding that God is not mocked. He sees their hearts and knows their deeds.
Reading from the Book Eph. 4:11,
Apostle Yakubu stressed that God gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers all for the edification of the Church nothing that Minister should know their calling if they are truly called By God to serve in the vineyard.
He lamented that some Church leaders today committed all manner of atrocities and abuse as a consequence of the deep reverence that they give to them
He explained that. If Christ were to secretly appear in Nigeria today as an ordinary man and if he went to one of the numerous churches on a Sunday morning he may not even be allowed to sit anywhere near the front row simply because he would have arrived on foot, without a long convoy of flashy cars and an escort of black-suited armed bodyguards.

“The ushers would have regarded Him as being ”nothing” because He would not have worn fine clothes, the most expensive shoes, and the most extravagant watch.
“That is how misguided and degenerate some within the leadership of the Nigerian church have now become today.”
” This is the time for the Church leaders to wake up, knowing that as Apostles they should Govern, the Church as Prophets Guide them, as Evangelists gather souls for the Kingdom as Pastors Guard the Church and as Teachers, Ground the congregation in God words,” he said.
