Kaduna OGP Gets New Citizen Co-chair

The Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) under the Open Government Partnership (OGP) in Kaduna State have a new Co-Chairman in the person of Mubarak Abdulganiyi Al-Ameer.
In his appreciation, Comrade Al-Ameer said his nomination and selection are not only a personal milestone but a testament to the collective dedication of the vibrant civil society.
“Your confidence in my ability to contribute to such a crucial aspect of civic life is truly humbling. I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me, this is indeed a viable process of an informed and empowered society, and I am eager to collaborate with every one of us to ensure that our endeavours make a meaningful impact.
“I recognize the significant responsibility that comes with this role, and I am committed to working tirelessly to foster transparency, inclusivity, and active citizen participation.
Together, let us bridge the gap and empower citizens to engage meaningfully in the decision-making processes that shape our communities.

Mubarak Abdulganiyi Al-Ameer promised to build on the achievements of OGP SAP II for the successes of OGP SAP III.
He assured the Citizens that the CSOs would continue to give them a voice in all matters that concern them.
The new Co-Chair also disclosed that the relationship between the state government and Civil society organizations in the state will be sustained.
