Kaduna Government restores Telecom in affected LGAs

Kaduna state government has directed the immediate restoration of telecommunication services in some local government areas were the services were shut down.

The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs Samuel Aruwan disclosed this during a press conference held on Friday, 26th November 2021.

Aruwan said the move follow recommendations from security agencies and intended to ease the hardship faced by the people.


He however stressed that other security containment order put in place by the Government remain enforced.


‌The government  promised that it administration will continue to monitor closely the unfolding developments and will announce further decisions at the appropriate time,” the statement added.


It will be recalled that the Kaduna State government, shut down telecommunication services in parts of the state as well as the ban on the use of motorcycles for commercial and personal purposes.
