A group under the auspices of Ihifix Digital Company has put machinery in place to ensure that everyone and everything in Kaduna, and by extension Nigeria is Digital literate in other to breach the gap.
The Chief Executive Officer(CEO) of the company, Emmanuel Odeh Adipe disclosed this during the unveiling of the new Digital edifice situated along Jabi Road by Alkali, in Kaduna.
According to him, Nigerians are backward in Education Technology and Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) which he said to be paramount to the development of any country.
The ICT expert said his organization is working round the clock to identify those gaps which are already there but unfortunately, Schools in the country are not putting conscious efforts in place to fill those gaps. Hence, the need for a Digital hub and Innovation Hub.
He expressed dismay that the gaps cut across every field and profession one can think of in the country.
Speaking about his organization, Adipe said Ihifix is a digital company with a mission to put everyone and everything in Nigeria and Africa online.
“If you want to put people Online and everything online, you have to create the skill first, the manpower that will be able to achieve that is very important”.
That is why we have Digital Academy, then from there, we now have some of the services that will provide all or offer to a whole lot of people from Software to Web design to digital marketing, so we are full fledge IT company trying to breach the IT gap.
Everyone should know that the world has gone Digital From Exams to learning, to anything you do. And if you are not digitally skillful, you will not be useful in this generation, whatever you study, even if you are a marketer that sells by the street, you will soon not be useful in this generation, so the only conviction is to get digitally skillful for you to be useful in this generation”, he observed.
Adipe stressed that Nigerian leaders need to understand that Digitalization is not a luxury or something one stumbles upon, rather it is what one consciously has to plan and put efforts in place for it to achieve.
He, therefore,  called on the youths to get busy, get digital because, it is the present and the Future and anyone left behind would regret it.
