Tourism Development: FTAN inaugurates  kaduna State Working Committee

Federation of Tourism Association of Nigeria(FTAN) In its course to make tourism Industry developed, Kaduna state Council has inaugurated its state working committe.
Inaugurating the council Officials, the North-West Vice president of FTAN, prince Ayodele Martin Arokoyo explained that  Kaduna state is the first to inaugurate its officials following the directives from the National Office.
According to him, Kaduna is the centerpiece of both politics and tourism in the country.
He further said, every Nigerians, both home and abroad want to be in Kaduna, noting  that tourism should be developed to promote the cultural potentials of the state.
 He charged the committee to make Kaduna a tourist destination in Nigeria,saying should be up and doing in other to promote and elevate the tourism industry in the state.
Arokoyo stressed that  if tourism is properly developed, it is a pinnacle to stop the Insecurity challenges bedeviling the states.
He expressed dismay that despite the availability of tourist attraction sites in the state, its economic value has not been fully  annexed.
Arokoyo promised FTAN cordial relationship with all Stakeholders in Kaduna state to turn around tourism and make the state destination.
Earlier, the coordinator of FTAN in Kaduna, Alhaji Iliyasu  Mohammed, said that the association has come of age in the state. Hence need to be strengthened for growth and development.
He also said that if not for the recent security challenges, Kaduna is a city where everyone want to visit, adding that the committee should work hard to make Kaduna a tourism bed.
In his acceptance speech on behalf of the committee, Alhaji Sadeeq Aliyu Abubakar who is the Assistant coordinator of tourism in Kaduna State, said that the appointment is a call to duty,therefore, expressed optimism that the committee will rise to the occasion.
Other members inaugurated are: Alhaji Sadeeq Abubakar; Assistant Coordinator, Alhaji Mohammed Salisu Shehu; Member, Alhaji Ikirimah Mohammed; Member, Mrs Clara Asojoh; Member, others include; Mrs Patience Iya; Member, and Mr. Jijiwin .O as Secretary.
