The Commandant General of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp (NSCDC), CG Ahmed Abubakar Audi has directed developers handling the 500 Staff Housing scheme in Kaduna to return back to site and ensure the speedy completion of the project.
He gave the directive while meeting with the developers in the state.
CG Audi who was represented by the Commandant in charge of Housing at the Corp Headquarter, Yakubu Ibrahim, said, In recognition of the fact that shelter is one basic necessity of man, and as part of its strategies of ensuring the availability of residential accommodation for its personnel, the leadership of Corp advised the developers to keep to the terms of contract.
He expressed his commitment to the project, noting that the project is aimed at boosting the morale of the personnel in Kaduna command to perform optimally to the benefits and enhancement of the national security.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, the Managing Director, Royal Voyage Nigeria limited, Engineer Muhammed Kudu Muhammed stressed his organization desire to complete the Housing projects as at when due.
He emphasized that base in the. Meeting staff from his organization will immediately move back to the site and commence work to ensure that the Housing project is completed in the next six months.
Engr. Muhammed explained that the Houses are located in Maraban Rido, Eastern bypass in Chikun Local government Area of the state, saying they comprises of two bedroom flats and three bedroom detached.
He, therefore, promised that the International best practices will be used in the construction of the project.
