By: Femi Mustapha

A Kaduna-based Activist, Yusuf Goje has advised opposition parties that their campaign should not be about how bad the incumbent government is, rather they should tell Nigerians what they have done over the past three years to keep the incumbent in check or hold them accountable.

He stated this in a statement made available to the media in Kaduna on 3rd, July 2022.

Goje said Nigerians can discern and judge for themselves if the incumbent has performed or not, so they don’t need anybody to campaign for them on this.

The Activist added that populist narratives, such as “I will reverse the policies and reforms of the incumbent” are not enough reason for the People to vote for any opposition parties.
