KADCHMA Builds Capacity of Medical Directors Desk officers on KSCHS, BHCPF

In other to ensure an effective implementation of Kaduna State contributory Health Scheme (KSCHS) and Basic Health Conttibutory Provision Fund, (BHCPF) the Kaduna State Contributory Health Management Authority (KADCHMA) have organized a one day capacity building for Medical Directors of Hospitals, Desk Officers and others stakeholders
Speaking during the training held on 29th September, 2022 the Director General (KADCHMA)
Mallam Abubukar Hassan said the aimed of the meeting is to allow all the stakeholders understand the processes in KADCHMA services so that they will work together as a team towards the aims and objectives of the Authority.
He added that the training also revealed successes achieved so far in the state Insurance, Health Scheme as a stepping stone for future giant strides.
Mallam Hassan disclosed that the meeting also grilled Leaderships of all the service providers from the tertiary, secondary and Primary Health Care facilities on referral issues, this he noted will Checkmate the bottleneck in referring patients.
A participants, Dr. Emmanuel Barak, who is the medical director of Zango-kataf general hospital said he was enlightening and educated more on the KSCHS and BHCPF.
Dr. Barak, however, called for better preparation for any such engagement because he only got invitation on the day of the seminar and had to make it to the training.
Similarly, the Deputy Marketing Manager, Infanite ×2 Health, Ismaila Umar said the training is very interesting because it addresses areas in the health insurance scheme and how enrollees can get easy access to health care services.
He commended the government of Mallam Nasir El-rufai for establishing KADCHMA and backing it with a law that will ensure that the agency remain even after his administration.
