LP National Secretary, former commissioner Leads Asake’s Guber Campaign in Kaduna

Kaduna State Labour Party governorship candidate, Hon. Jonathan Asake, has approved the appointment of Hon. Tsahiru Bako, a former commissioner for water resources and onetime chairman of Jaba local government area, as the director general of his campaign council.
This was contained in a statement by media aide to Jonathan Asake, James Swam and made available to the media in Kaduna Tuesday.
He also approved the appointment of the party’s national secretary, Umar Farouk Ibrahim, as chairman of the campaign council.
Other appointments made includes those of the deputy director general, Alhassan Mohammed who is a grassroot mobilizer and a staunch politician, as well as Gaius Umaru who will serve as secretary of the campaign council.
The governorship candidate also appointed Dr. Sebastian Abu as the director of administration of the campaign.
The appointments was announced in a press release on Monday, signed by Asake’s media aide, James Swam.
The governorship candidate described those appointed as “very experienced and dependable politicians who have full grasp of the political terrain and will deliver the state for Labour Party”.
