June 12: Activist Urges President Tinubu To Serve Nigerians To Best Of His Ability

Comrade Abdullahi Akeem Ahmed has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to serve Nigerians to best of his ability pooling all his experiences together to further unite the country genuinely manage its diversity and democratically harness the resources for the betterment of every Citizen.

This was contained in a statement made available to the media in Kaduna today .

Abdullahi Akeem Ahmed  who is also known as ‘Dan Farauta of  our  time ‘ said  President  Tinubu should remember that power was not served to him on a plate of ala carte but was grabbed snatched and ran away with it under the prerogative of his contribution to the realization of June 12 struggle

” May their labor not be in vain. What we can do to honor these democratic icons is to name monuments after them and name ASO Rock Villa after Chief MKO Abiola, declaring him the winner of the June 12 1993 presidential election.

“Uphold the principles and ideology aspired for and represents, eradicate poverty, provide free and quality education at all strata, unique national values that we can be proud and crave for be developed and make life more meaningful for all Nigeria irrespective of their creed or tribal affinity. ”

He therefore urged the president to toe the path of the late icon of democracy, Chief MKO Abiola, by making the welfare of Nigerians a priority.

While commending the masses for their unwavering commitment to democracy, the politician appealed to the president to continue upholding democratic values while extending a helping hand to the less privileged.

According to her, June 12 should serve as a reminder of Nigeria’s hard-fought journey towards a system of governance that empowers the people and provides a platform for their voices to be heard.

He said, “As we move forward, I implore President Tinubu to emulate the late Chief MKO Abiola by championing the cause of democracy and extending a helping hand to those in need. By prioritizing the well-being of all Nigerians, especially the less privileged, we can truly build a just and prosperous nation.” He concluded
