N 72,000 minimum wage demonstration of Uba Sani’s commitment to workers’ welfare – KD IPAC

The Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Kaduna State, Hon. Ahmed Tijjani Mustapha, has described the recent approval of the N72,000 minimum wage as a demonstration of Gov. Uba Sani’s commitment to addressing workers’ welfare in Kaduna State.
He asserted this while speaking to the media in Kaduna on Thursday,7th October,2024
Hon. Ahmed Tijjani Mustapha, who doubles as the State Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the State, while acknowledging the minimum wage pronouncement, commended the governor for recognizing the need to review the current minimum wage with the present economic situation.
The welfare of workers, according to him, is paramount, and he trusts that pronouncements by the Governor will motivate workers in the State to put in their best for the progress of the State.
The IPAC Chairman, expressed satisfaction with the governor’s approval, stressing that the move demonstrated a strong sense of solidarity with the workers in the state.
He stated, “Mr Governor has shown that he is with the workers in the state and I advised our workers to reciprocate this gesture by dedicating themselves to their respective Duties.
“Gov Uba Sani has shown himself to be labor-friendly and welcomes every move that will better the lives of Kaduna State workers and its citizens”.
