Kaduna State Women leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hajia Maryam Suleiman Ruso has donated items to Christians in the State in the spirit of Christmas celebration.
The items donated includes; Clothing materials for Women, Cow meat and Five thousand Naira to each beneficiary.
While addressing the beneficiaries at the party Secretariat, the woman leader said the gestures is for the women to have a smooth celebration.
She promised more of such assistance under her leadership, urging women at the grassroots level to mobilize more people into the party in order to boost its membership strength as the 2023 general election approaches.
“We are seeking your cooperation so that we live in peace. This is Christmas period, we should celebrate it together, despite our religious difference for the sake of peaceful coexistence.
“We are all Women, we should not allow anybody to use us to cause chaos in the state of selfish interest.
“APC is concerned about Women welfare. You are encouraged to embark on development programmes in your wards.”, She said.
