Driven by the desire to provide the needed ground and support for Believers to seek the face of God and stand in the gap for the Country, the House of Purpose Ministry U/Sunday in Chikun local Government area of Kaduna State is set to hold its annual convention in a unique style with a theme; “Breaking Limits”
The senior Pastor of the Ministry, Apostle Yakubu Yusuf asserted this while speaking to the media recently.
Apostle Yakubu said the three day hybrid Convention from 3rd to 6th November 2022 is to encourage believers not to relent in their efforts in praying for Nigeria and a peaceful general election in 2023.
Speaking on the Convention Theme “Breaking Limits”, Apostle Yakubu explained that when you know who you are, you will have dominion over many issues of life by breaking limits.
According to him, the theme is borne out of the desire to look deeper into the lives of believers in Nigeria, noting that their “Pains are much, but that can be overcome when they have the tools to break limits which will be presented to them at the three Days firepack Convention.
Speaking on the situation in the Country especially the 2023 General Elections, Apostle Yakubu admonished Nigerians
to pray for a good and best of leadership in the general elections.
He emphasised that there was a need for Nigerians to vote for those that would lead the country aright in the years ahead.
“I think we have prayed that God will give us our best and give us leaders that will turn around our nation for the better.
“But then, like a farmer has good land, he has good seeds, and he spent all his time praying that God will give him a bountiful harvest, but he doesn’t cultivate, he doesn’t plant, he doesn’t weed or do anything, he will go hungry and he will remain poor but when we pray, we also act because faith without corresponding action is dead.
” So, we pray for a good leader, for the best of leadership, then we use our minds, we get our facts and we vote for the people that God leads us to vote for that will turn the situation of the country around.” he said
In his own remarks, the Chairman of the Convention Planning Committee, Deacon Surv. Ephraim Musa said the gathering is happening at a time when Nigerians must engage in intense prayer for national stability, because everything in life needs prayer, adding that for the country to come out of the present security challenges, people must pray for peace to reign.
He solicited for the support of Nigerians in cash and kind for the successful hosting of the Convention.
Pastor Uche Abba will lead other gospel ministers to sing praises to the God that is mighty to be praised. The Convention is coming up at the Ministry Headquarters, No. 33 Sani Katsina Street, U/Sunday.
